Wyrd
(first draft)

And here's the latest post on Wyrd (12/19/11):
WORDS WRITTEN: 2374
TOTAL WORDS: 40,291
REASON FOR STOPPING: Hit page 200 and cracked 40,00 words; that was my goal for the day.
It’s been quite a while since my last update, last March in fact, but that’s because I had that whole other book I was writing in that other tense. So I’ve started working on this manuscript again, and very happy to be back on it again, after refreshing myself on the research and doing a little more to make sure I had it as right as I wanted it, and now the words are hitting the page and I’m having a lot of fun. My goal for this manuscript for 2011 is to reach page 250, and I know there’s only a couple weeks of the year left, but with how it got going today — and with me hitting my Page 200 goal and doing about ten pages — I’m pretty confident I can hit Page 250 before January 1st.
My first historical fiction novel set in the middle to late fifth century in England. It plays around with the themes of the Anglo-Saxon migrations from mainland Europe to England, the rise of the Britons as a united people and what it means to have a lasting legacy as a culture. This book is currently in its first draft.

Nothing is an Accident
And there is now a Nothing is an Accident Facebook page which you can like and access here.
And here's the latest post on Nothing is an Accident (10/14/11):
Couple more weeks and a bunch more submissions to agents, and as of now I’ve pretty much exhausted my list of agents to query. I have probably about another ten or so that require specific instruction submissions that I will get to in December, but for now I’ve got a whole bunch of queries out there, so I’m just going to wait a bit. Also had a couple requests for the manuscript, so keeping my fingers crossed for those.
A book about identity, that questions who you are, and how we are more than just a collection of memories. When the main character wakes and has no recollection who he is and where he is, it's up to him to find out what's going on and who's behind it all.
The final edit
is now complete and it's time to start submitting this baby out to agents and publishers. If you know anyone looking for mystery/thrillers, shoot me an email.

White Horse
And here's the latest post on White Horse (11/05/11):
WORDS WRITTEN TODAY: 7,613
WORDS WRITTEN FOR THE WEEK: 12,338
TOTAL WORDS: 97,754
TOTAL PAGES: 449
REASON FOR STOPPING: End of book.
It is done! I just wrote “The End” on The White Horse and almost 98,000 words and 449 pages later the book is now done. It was a great wild ride and I’m very happy to reach the end. This is the third book I’ve ever finished and the feeling is great! And now it’s time to put this book to sleep and give it a nice long rest. It’ll probably be a good three months, February or March, before I take a look at this baby again, so that it can mature and age like a good wine or cheese. And then when I go to look at it again, it’ll seem like a different story that I didn’t write and will feel fresh and new, and then operation editing will begin!
But for now, this side of The White Horse feels pretty great!
The first book in a planned four-book series, tentatively titled The Four Horsemen. All four books will be set in post-apocalyptic worlds, with one book possibly set during the bubonic plague of the Middle Ages, another set within a steampunk world, and another set on the moon in the future.
White Horse is set on the island of Gibraltar in the near future. Yes, you read that right; you'll just have to read the finished book to find out what it means. This book is currently in its first draft.
